Carbon monoxide is known as the 鈥榮ilent killer鈥� because you can鈥檛 see, smell or taste it.听That鈥檚 why it鈥檚 so important to stay gas safe in your home.听

- Make sure you leave any gas work in your home to the Gas Safe registered engineers and don鈥檛 attempt any DIY work on your gas appliances.听
- Always keep air ventilation points and the gas flue clear.听
- Make sure you know where to find your gas meter and how to turn off the gas in an emergency.听
- Don鈥檛 use a gas appliance if you have any doubt that it is working properly. 听
Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include headaches, dizziness, breathlessness and nausea.听
